This is a selection of my ongoing experiments in visualising sound. The first few are visualising bird song and the human voice then there’s some visualisations of music. It’s been interested to leverage LLM’s to help write code and develop new approaches to this problem. I was surprised at how much data I could extract from an audio file of a piece of dance music. Using LLM’s can also help me code bridges between different software which is something that would have been previously out of my grasp.
These experiments were all realised in Houdini and rendered in Redshift
