23.01 ‘Automatic Interpolation’



This is part of Audio Geometry Explorations and one of three of this series (see also Neon Interpolation and Piano Shapes). I used Google's Magneta  AI VAE algorithm to create an automatic interpolation from one MIDI file to another. We hear this transition though the duration of the piece. The splitting pathways represent the other possible pathways the
algorithm could have taken. As soon as a choice is taken per stem the other nodes in it are frozen.

The colours are randomly sampled from Gustav Klimt’s Portrait Of Eugenia Primavesi.
