Commonwealth Games

In June I worked with ISO Design to help create content for the Commonwealth Games 2014 Opening Ceremony. I provided three particle based sequences to be shown on the astoundingly large screen which was over 100 metres wide weighed more than 38 tonnes.

Below you can see a short cut of my sequences being shown live plus a small making-of.

I used Cinema 4D to create the sequences relying heavily on the X-Particles plug-in as well the Mograph module. The content had to be delivered at 6K resolution so it was important to keep the render times reasonable and the scenes light.
